ABOUT MUDDY NEST
Alice Morgan is a potter living in Barwon Heads Victoria and the creator of Muddy Nest Ceramics.

All of Alice's pieces are made in her delightfully sunny home studio, using a variety of stoneware clays.
Alice Morgan wearing an apron and holding a piece of clay sits at a workbench in a pottery studio, smiling at the camera.
Ceramic bowls, fresh lemons, a lemon squeezer, and a cloth napkin arranged on a wooden table.
A wooden shelf displays a potted cactus, dried branches in a ceramic vase, small bowls, and figurines against a wooden wall
A white ceramic cup filled with coffee sits on a light-colored surface, next to a pair of beige sunglasses.
A ceramic vase with green foliage, a framed painting, and two small ceramic bowls with assorted decorative items are arranged
I enjoy creating pieces that are beautiful to touch, hold and look at, but are also practical to use every day.

"I have always been drawn to handmade ceramics at markets, galleries and op shops.  I decided about 7 years ago to have a go at it myself by going along to classes at Studio Made by Darren McGinn in Geelong.  I fell in love with it straight away."

When Alice is not in her studio, you will most likely find her out in her garden overlooking the Barwon River.

Muddy Nest products are available for purchase online or at Lon Retreat Point Lonsdale Australia.
